Riding in Style

As someone who hasn't gotten around to getting their license yet, I pride myself in my ability to bum rides off people. However, there are always times when this is a hassle or, if you go to boarding school and can't have a car, impossible. Two classy and convenient modes of transportation are the longboard and the bike. As with anything, you need to know what you are looking for before making a purchase in either of these fields. When it comes to bikes, if you are just trying to get around campus quickly and steezily, check out a street bike like the one pictured above. Bianchi makes the stylish bike, which is available in a range of colors. Longboards are preferable to traditional skateboards for two reasons: you go faster with fewer pumps and you don't have to be able to do complicated trick in order to look good on one. Brands to check out are Loaded Boards and Sector 9. In recent years there have been a number of fads to hit the boarding school transport scene, from Rip Sticks to Electric Scooters, but through it all longboards and bikes remain tied as the number one choice.
